This project, recently completed, is on a very sensitive Conservation Area site.
There had been twelve previous unsuccessful Planning Applications & Appeals over many years attempting to develop the site. I C Architects, through careful sensitive detailing and design, obtained Planning Approval in 2013.
Oxford based Sweetcroft Homes were the main contractor.
Situated in a pretty garden plot this house incorporates all the usual “green” credentials – solar capture, rainwater harvesting and high levels of insulation.
I C Architects produced a crisply detailed design that sits very well in its surroundings and is sympathetic and respectful to adjacent properties.
J G Pimm & Sons were the main contractors.
This project occupies an important corner location of a former garage & workshop business. Extensive site contamination had to be removed before building work could commence in 2015.
The design visually strengthens the corner & detailing reflects features found in other properties in Marcham.
Project completion 2017.
I C Architects have successfully obtained planning permission for numerous plots that had space for one or more additional new dwellings within the curtilage.
This one is located in Cowley, Oxford & the design sits comfortably within the existing street scene.
Main Contractor Savvy Ltd.
This large new natural stone built home is located in extensively landscaped private grounds. Project completion 2014
